We are a woodworking company based and registered in Lamjung, Nepal. We manufacture wood furniture and interior design elements using locally sourced wood. We make wood designs in such a way that natural wood patterns get pronounced in our wood products.
Our Story
We have long been fascinated by wood as a natural material because of its natural texture, color and pattern. Wood’s longitudinal and cross-sectional annual ring patterns are very unique, diverse and beautiful we can see in the nature. From centuries people have been employing those patterns in woodworking to create beautiful wood items. Those items have not got wow factors just because of natural wood grains, but also because of different techniques used in woodworking. Those techniques helped adding more aesthetics to the final product. It had been our dream to do woodworking by combine modern/old techniques and aesthetic properties of wood.
Bancharo woodworking & Designs is our small effort to realize our woodworking dreams. Our goal is to combine precision woodworking technologies and existing craftsmanship to produce fine products. We are also continuously upgrading our machines and measuring devices to mach desired precision.
Our workspace
We have built our workshop using modern tools having safety functions. In addition, we have installed blast gates and dust collection hoses in every machine to make workspace tidy and minimize the risk of having tiny particles in the workspace. We give utmost importance to safety of our woodworkers. We provide high quality 3M masks, gloves and hearing protection accessories.
For employees working at office we provide ergonomic chairs and electric tables to mitigate the risks of posture related issues. In addition to safety measures, we also provide mood enhancing ambiance.
In our attempt to improve workspace we are planning to improve office and workshop acoustic by installing sound diffusers in he near future.
Recycling and toxicity
Wood is highly recyclable material. We produce very little waste from our workshop. Saw dust is our main waste which we recycle by making compost or burning material.
We mainly use natural wood finishes. We try to avoid using synthetic chemicals as far as practicable. In the condition where we have no choices over synthetic chemicals we always try to minimize the risks that come with it.
